  • 医学教育分野別評価の観点に準じた教学IR指標の検討:LRSによる学習履歴の統合

    研究初年度の実績として、以下を実施した:(1)LRS(Learning Locker)の導入(2)LRSとMoodleとの接続検証およびデータ通信に関する動作確認(3)これまでに行われた医学教育分野別評価の受審結果の整理 (1)(2)ではオープンソースのシステムとしてLearning Lockerを導入し、同じくオープンソースであるMoodleとのデータ連携を行った。Moodleのプラグインとして公開されているLogstore xAPI のプラグインを利用することで、容易にデータ連携を行うことが可能であった。 一方、(2)において、現時点でMoodleからLRSへデータを送るための機能が限定的であり、一部の学習履歴(具体的には、小テストの個別の解答傾向など)を集約することが困難であることが明らかになった。本研究の当初の範囲としては、こうした個別の情報に踏み込むことはあまり想定していなかった。しかし、教学IRや分野別評価の観点から考えた場合、試験問題の妥当性評価などを行うにあたってはこのような個別の情報も必要となることが見込まれる。このため、LRSへのデータ集約と合わせ、Moodle本体のデータをバックアップする際に複製したデータを用いて解析等を行い、最終的にどちらが有用であるかを比較検討する形で進めている。 (3)においては、日本医学教育評価機構によって公開されている評価報告書を元に、受審結果の傾向と合わせ、特にICTを活用したデータの集積、教学IRに関連する内容などの評価コメントを集約整理する作業に着手した。

    For this study, an international comparative survey was performed in Europe, America, Australia, and Japan, to gain information on opinions about the appropriate directions for academics and society in the 21st century. The results were shared in research papers, reports at international academic conferences, and academic books. They demonstrate the likelihood that 21st-century society and its academic approaches will be shaped in important ways by the concepts of cooperation across different fields, inter-professional education and work, citizenship, and social responsibility. The results from the research period have been used in three refereed research papers (two Japanese texts, one English text), six refereed reports at international academic conferences, and five books (one main edition, two co-authored, two translations).

    From the viewpoint of the international comparison, the analysis of materials such as medical journals, minutes of advisory councils, and trial records was mainly investigated to clarify the feature of the formation process of medical policy in Japan concerning public health and medical research. Some of the results were announced by the research paper and oral presentation. Moreover, in each fiscal year, we interviewed the experts of medicine and medical administration. While exchanging opinions positively, we made efforts to conceive the mechanism of the medical administration in Japan and to understand the history of the policies about vaccine and influenza and to collect the latest information.
